BIG WOODS HARE HUNTERS of the ALLEGHENY MEET.
The Shamrock Room at the Kelly Hotel in Marienville, PA, came to life on St. Patrick's Day Eve when the Big Woods Hare Hunters met for their annual breakfast, seminar, and fun hunt. Twelve members, one prospective member, and two guests enjoyed fellowship and camaraderie over breakfast before venturing to the sun-drenched front porch of the Kelly Hotel for the annual update on the condition of the PGC Game Lands from the newly inducted member, District Forester, beagler, and hare hunter, Scott Wolbert from Shippenville, PA. After the presentation by Forester Wolbert, several members, led by John Zimmerman, ventured to the woods for a very successful "Fun Hunt," and successful it was with many sightings and "tally Ho"s. The High HareMan wants to thank Captain Kaz Kazmarek for his help in making it all happen and financial help. Thanks again to all for coming out. It was a great day!
