ANOTHER HUNT IN MAINE.

 ANOTHER HUNT IN MAINE

10-24-2022 TO 10-28-2022

Probably the last one for the High HareMan.

The beagles get a chance to get some sun in Connecticut.
A rest stop in Connecticut.

Andy (R) and I are outside our favorite eatery in Massachusetts.
Psyco Sid is a great traveler.

Of course, a stop at Cabela's in Maine.
Entering New Hampshire.
Entering Maine. It does feel like coming home.
Picked up Joe at the Portland (Me) Jetport.
Joe was now the driver.
Getting the beagles settled in the kennels at the Pine Grove Lodge.

Collaring up beagles and getting ready to hunt. It turned out to be a damp day.

A damp day. Getting ready to hunt.

Father and son enjoyed a wonderful week together, especially Dad.

This is what I did best, eat.

Collaring up Music. Every day the same thing. Garmin 200i worked great, on most days.
Andy in some of Maine's rocky terrain. Actually, it's a rock quarry. A snowshoe hare ran through the quarry. The hounds couldn't track it in this terrain.

Music in the rocks having a hard time.

A beautiful beagle named Music.

This small snowshoe hare ran under the tailgate Brenda and I was sitting on and around Andy's truck where Brenda snapped this picture of the little hare taking a leak.
The three hunters enjoyed a great week. The five (5) day hunt went by too fast.
We had a couple damp days but mostly sunny and beautiful weather.

The little hare ran through the quarry. The beagles had no idea where it went.
